Children and Youth are an important part of our worship service and are included in every part of it, whether they are sitting in a pew with their family, worshipping with a loved one in our PRAYground (a space in the sanctuary designed for children to worship in their own way with us), or worshipping with family at home.
We have serval members who are willing to take children ages 3 and under to the nursery while their adults worship, but we welcome also their sounds and wiggles in worship.
As much as we believe that children learn and grow in worship, it is also important for them to have time geared specifically to kids.
The third Sunday of each month, we offer a special Sunday school class for kids PK-3rd grade. Their class focuses on stories from the Bible, but they also sing and have time to share their week with one another. The class lasts about 45 minutes.
Our youth 4th grade and up gather at the same time. This time is focused on building relationships and supporting one another.
